Aluminium futures trade mixed on MCX

Aluminium futures traded mixed on MCX, as the contract for May delivery traded lower on profit booking at prevailing levels, while the contract for June delivery traded higher on supply constraints from producing belts and on narrowed inventory positions. The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 369.15 down by 0.16% or 0.60 from its previous closing of Rs 369.75.The open interest of the contract stood at 3083 lots.The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 370.15 up 0.35% or Rs 1.30 from its previous closing of Rs 368.85.The open interest of the contract stood at 601 lots on MCX.
